June 2012 / Tictoc is a small but attractive accommodation with most amenities needed for a holiday stay, but no phone. It has a separate bedroom, living room, and kitchen and independently accessed bath, compact but well designed. Condition was good and clean. Bed and sofa bed were comfortable. Bath water pressure and hot water were good. There is no AC but there is cross ventilation. Windows are double pane. It is on the third floor with a lift. The lift did not operate for most of our stay, but we received a 10% rent reduction as compensation. The location is favorable. The building is on a primarily pedestrian street in a very convenient central Paris location. The street and neighborhood posed no evident security threats. However, Friday and Saturday nights had much partying noise until late hours. The street has some shops and restaurants. Many other shops and restaurants are nearby. A Metro stop, Etienne Marcel, is nearby. We would stay here again. Relations with Paris Autrement staff were reasonable and appropriate.

july 2012 / The apartment's location is a very good, it's just 15-20 minutes walk from the historical center. But the district of the apartment is full of bars and restaurants, and it can be quite busy in evenings and nights.
There is a very nice fresh market just next door on the Rue Montorgueil, also with lot of cafes and food shops. 5 minutes walk from flat there is a big supermarket Monoprix, which is open until 10pm (Metro Réaumur - Sébastopol).
So, this district is a very convenient, but a bit noisy.
