Bonjour Vincent Your colleague came and fixed the lock by giving us a replacement key, and he has repositioned the sofa back, but it was complicated and he had to upend the sofa to do so. The toilet door handle he has disabled. Which means that you cannot close it from outside, again this is not a problem for us, but it would be if we're staying longer. As we canot close the door and it creaks all day and night long as the air moves the door backwards and forwards. The DVD player is broken, the drawer which has always stuck, no longer works at all, and the HDMI cable is not working It is hardly surprising given how overheated the equipment was. The arrangemetn the owner currently has is a serious fire hazard. However it would be nice to be able to watch a movie, just oce during our stay. Have you printed out the oven instructions that I emailed to you? By the way, when the maid next cleans the apartment, she might consider hooovering under the bed. I look forward to hearing from you

September 2014 / The Appartement and the location of the apartment are phantastic and we enjoyed our time with our three children there very much. It is such a unique and very quite place that we can only recumbent it. you can sleep at night with open windows and you get a beautiful view from the terrace. August 2014 / We were delighted by our stay at Artseine - it was better than I imagined it could be! The location is great, very convenient for our mixed party of people going to Disneyland Paris and people going to explore the sights in Paris. The space is beautiful - natural light and all the amenities. We had 7 people, including a family with a teenager, and there was lots of room for us to hang out together and to have alone time too. The steam room was a wonderful treat! We were glad to have the laundry facilities in the middle of a long trip, and it was wonderful to have a full kitchen to cook in / make snacks in when we didn't feel up to trekking out to a restaurant after a day with a lot of walking. We'll be talking about the wild art on the walls for a while. We all agreed that we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Paris, this was so fantastic. The office was very flexible with us in terms of getting keys - we arrived in two groups and they met both separately and were very helpful. Thanks for a great experience!

June 2014 / Great apartment in a brilliant spot, a short walk from St Paul metro, supermarkets and cafés nearby, but on a quiet street so no noise at night. The place is neat and well equipped, comfy bed, great shower, fast wifi. Ludovic & colleagues very easy to deal with, quick to reply every time. I was met on time by a friendly colleague of Ludovic's. I would recommend them as hosts and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

May 2014 / Nice place center of the city, look out the window to see Notre Dame, corner of it anyway. Tight quarters -- but what isn't in Paris? Clean, quiet, comfortable Who wouldn't want to stay on Ile St Louis?? The hosts went out of their way to allow us to check in early- thank you Vincent.

June 2014 : Great location and price. Very close to Metro stop making it easy to get around. No air conditioning but fans worked well. We were there during a very hot time in Paris and were still comfortable. Overall Guest Satisfaction: 4/5

May 2014 / Charles Carton is an AMAZING apartment. We LOVED our stay there and would stay there again. The apartment is actually very spacious and perfect for couples. It actually looks even better than the photos. The decoration is very chic, and there is a separate kitchen. The owner was very sweet in leaving us chocolates and wine. It has everything you could possibly need in an apartment. It is located on Rue Charlot, in the northern Marais. Very peaceful street but close to many cafes and restaurants, such as Cafe Charlot, Le Progres, and trendy spots like the Mary Celeste.

May 2014 / We loved this apartment. It is very compact, yet modern. Perfect for two people/couples. The courtyard is absolutely stunning and gives you the feeling of utmost privacy. We were greeted on time and were even helped with our luggages which was very appreciated. The location is wonderful, right in the heart of the Marais, close to many shops, restaurants, cafes and steps away from the Carnavalet museum and the national archives. I was very happy with the blow dryer and iron. Would highly recommend it.

June 2014 / This apartment was delightful and just as we expected from the pictures and description. It was spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated! Moreover, the location was perfect - walking distance to everything in central Paris and close to several Metro stations to reach the outer arrondissements. The large windows looking out onto the courtyard allowed the apartment to be light and airy, while still being fairly quiet for such a central location. The apartment was very clean when we got there. As a minor note, the cleaning crew may have sprayed some air freshener, which my family found a bit strong, although it aired out easily. Ludovic and his team were very easy to contact and a pleasure to work with. We would go back again and would definitely recommend this apartment and our host to other visitors.

I stayed in Rouge Baiser for 5 nights in June 2014. The apartment is well furnished. The only problem is the noise from the street. Though it's a pedestrian zone, the cafes and pizzarias only till very late. The noise eventually died down at about 1:00 a.m.; but at 6-7:00 a.m. here comes the bin lorries and delivery vans. Not suitable for people who can not stand noise. Also, the stairs are narrow and spiral. It is harder than I thought to take luggage up and down the flat. Otherwise, good.

I will be travelling from London on the 8 June with the Eurotrain, and I will be stopping at The Gare du Nord. I will probably taking the taxi from the train station. I just want to comfirm the address, No 28, Rue Beaubourg. I notice that there is a door code which is 16B47. Should I use the door code to enter the apartment on my own.

September 2014 / This very pleasant apartment met all our expectations. It's comfortable, clean, quiet and very nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable, the shower excellent and everything worked well in the kitchen. The stairwell proved to be easy except when arriving and leaving with suitcases. The location was extremely convenient to food shops and an easy walk to virtually all of central Paris. Our host's agent was waiting for us when we arrived and provided a warm welcome and good instruction on how to make everything work.

May 2014 / The apartment was really beautiful, clean, and well designed. Although it's small (like most French apartments!) it is very well laid out and we were comfortable with 5 adults. The check in was easy and timed perfectly for our arrival due to Ludovic's team being quite communicative (and special thanks to Severine for answering my calls about the washer/dryer!). With respect to the neighborhood, it really can't be beat! Overall, I would highly recommend this apartment, particularly to the independent traveler that does not need much hand holding or guidance in Paris. What a great way to live like a local! April 2014 / It's a very nice apartment with enough space and a good bed. The location is also very nice, near to the Hotel de Ville and the Notre Dame. Good restaurants nearby. You can park next to the apartment but you can also park at Ave. Gambetta and take the metro (line 11), saves a lot of money when staying several days.

May 2014 / Vincent came to meet us promptly after our arrival. The apartment was exactly as it was advertised. We enjoyed it very much. It had everything we needed and more. Great location. Would go back in a minute.

June 2014 / Wew had a wonderfull stay in Ludovic's appartment. The location is great - very close to metro and to all the major sites of interest. The host met us in time, so we did not have any problems. The appartment is very cosy and clean. All met expectations.

August 2014 / We loved it, Villa Ducale was exquisite, super well located, over looking a fabulous garden and nearby a supermarket, the metro and exquisite restaurant. we have already referred Paris-Autrement to all our friends. and look forward to use Paris-Autrement again.
