I own a VRBO property and have rented a dozen or so around the world, so I feel that my review is informed and justified. This apartment appears nice but there are some major drawbacks, especially given the premium price: 1. The beds and pillows are AWFUL - I would compare them to Motel 6 quality in the States. The master bed feels like two box springs. The other room with only one bed is completely unsuitable for two average sized adults to sleep in. When one turns over it lifts the other one up. The two in the kids bedroom were "ok" but none were conducive to a good night's sleep. 2. There was no dish soap (dishwasher soap, yes) but no soap for hand washing dishes. Also, there were no dishrags for cleaning counters, etc. after spills or preparing a meal. Also, no real baking dishes or cookie sheets that we could find. 3. There was no hand washing soap in the toilet rooms - very unsanitary. This is a very small cost (<$2) to the owners and can be used for multiple guests. 4. No shower curtains. This is peculiar. There is a glass door that encloses about 1/3 of the shower but it gets water all over the floor and makes the shower very cold. Also, the master shower does not drain and you end up standing in cold water during the shower. 5. In the bath with the tub, there is only a hand sprayer for shower and no place to put it overhead so it's kind of like a sponge bath. 6. A coffee pot was provided but no coffee filters - again a very small expense that makes the stay much more comfortable for guests. 7. Washer and dryer were nice to have but the dryer did not seem to have a setting that actually dried the clothes. Every setting we tried (all of them) you could hear water being drawn into the dryer. Clothes were always damp after the cycle. Maybe that's the French way, IDK.

Das Viertel hat sehr viel Flair und es befinden sich Supermärkte, Cafés und Restaurants direkt vor der Haustür. Eine tolle Ausgangslage für Ausflüge, da quasi im Zentrum - einfach perfekt. Mit der Agentur Paris Autrement hat alles super geklappt - vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt für unsere Familie!

November 2015 / The apartment was just as pictured in the photos. It is a beautiful place - convenient to so much of Paris. Ludovic and his team was a pleasure to work with, quick and responsive to any questions we had. I can not recommend this place enough. We had a wonderful experience in Paris and in large part, it was due to our happy home for a week.

November 2015 / This is our second stay in one of Ludovic's apartments and we were very happy with our choic. We loved this apartment! It s located in a great location. It was just the right size in a very quiet apartment. The windows look out into a courtyard, so there was lots of light and very quiet. The shutters close from the interior of the apartment, so you can sleep in complete darkness. The was well-equipped and very clean. The bed was spacious and perfect for two. We also tried the sleeper sofa to watch tv and take a nap--it too was very comfortable. We will definitely stay in this apartment again or one of Ludovic's other beautiful apartments.

November 2015 / We had a great stay at Casa di Bambola. Ludovic was very professional and helpful when we encountered train delays. He quickly rescheduled our arrival multiple times. Miguel arrived promptly and showed us the apartment. He gave us information about the surrounding area and pointed out a nearby grocery store and restaurants. We are a family of five and the apartment more than adequate in terms of space. Overall, we were very please with the experience and would recommend this apartment to our friends and family.

October 2015 / A very nice and comfortable apartment, very close to the metro Saint Paul. its quite and warm with everything you need to feel like at home. We stayed with a baby and it was enough space for three of us. High speed WiFi, wooden floor, clean and full of light. We highly recommend this place to everyone. there is an elevator in the building, a supermarket near by and many nice shops around. Next time we will come back))

Novembre 2015 : Fantastic apartment in vibrant neighborhood. We stayed with 3 college-age children, and there was plenty of space for all. Clean, bright, charming, great location: highly recommend this lodging!!

Novembre 2015 : Our family of five stayed here for 12 nights and were very comfortable. The stairs are always a bonus for us as we love to exercise. There is no lift, so others may have difficulty with five sets of stairs. Check in was seamless. Great location for the center of Paris. Would highly recommend to those who love walking Paris!

December 2015 / This place was perfect. Ludovic stayed in contact to make sure I made it to Paris OK. Gregory met me right on time and made sure I was comfortable. He spent extra time to acquaint me with the neighborhood and showed me where to buy groceries and supplies. The flat is bigger than expected, nicely appointed and very comfortable. The courtyard made it very quiet and the beds were very cozy. I had a hard time to get out of bed most days actually, so maybe too comfy! The location is fantastic, really could not be better if you want to be in the heart of Marais without the noise. I could happily live here and plan to return to this flat. I didn't watch tv, but the WiFi was good. There were plenty of towels which was nice, and the washer dryer is a huge convenience when on the road. You will need to supply your basics from soap to paper towels. There is a grocery store very close. TIP. There is a little restaurant directly across the street called Braque that is worth a visit for a special night, or every night. Wow! It was my favorite place of the week.

November 2015 / The listing was accurate. It is a beautiful apartment in a great location. We were met on time with the keys and shown around the apartment. There is 3 flights of stairs but t is relatively easy compared to some other apartments in Paris. Low ceilings in one bedroom but is fine and space is used well. I would recommend this apartment and at a reasonable price.
